Today has been a busy day. I spent the morning working on my banner for my shop. I found several lettering styles that I liked and played around with them for awhile.
The first one I was happy with looked like this:

I really liked it when I was messing with it on Adobe but the minute I uploaded it to Flickr I realized just how unreadable it is. So back to the drawing board...till I came up with this:

Im much happier with this but not sure that I'm done yet. D suggested separating the letters and putting one under each photo..adding another photo to have the right amount. I kinda like that idea too so I may mess around with it some more. I like the starry font though ^__^

This afternoon I took a walk and it is HOT outside. I had a tshirt and sandals on and was really surprised at how much its heated up. It gets really hot here though. I guess that's to be expected being in the south of France *grin* I am wondering just how hot it will be by the sea. Im assuming that it might be pretty hot. That's ok though. It's supposed to be hot at the beach. This afternoon I have to finish cleaning the house and getting things ready. I have class tomorrow and we are leaving as soon as D gets home from work. I am really excited!! Marie has rented a house for the weekend so I am looking forward to a wonderful time.

Last night I finished this, well at least the embroidery part. I have to put the back on it but I'm waiting for the pin part to come in the mail. I really like how it turned out. I'm so glad I decided to go 3D with the keys. It really adds another dimension to it LOL!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I know I will!

  1. Resampling spoils a lot of our efforts, doesn't it? The piano keys look striking indeed. Have a wonderful weekend!
